I selected this hotel because it is just one block from the Opera House and easy walking distance to the Spanish Horse Riding School and the chapel of the Vienna Boys´ Choir. The Ring has very plush contemporary style rooms, as well as an exercise room and sauna. My husband especially enjoyed the latter after a long day´s driving in the rain. I enjoyed a hot bath in the room after an especially cold night out.The hotel personnel were worth their weight in gold assisting us with internet connections, securing last minute dinner reservations and making a valiant effort to acquire tickets to the opera. If you´re driving, it is almost impossible to arrive at the front of the hotel due to traffic patterns, tram tracks, and construction. We were able to park at the rear of the building for free due to our stay being over the weekend.

We spent four nights at this excellent hotel in Vienna. Located on the Ring road it is a great location for visiting all the key sites in Vienna. We were only a short walk to the Hofburg Palaces, Parliament, St. Stephen´s, etc.
The room is well appointed and a good size. The bathroom is a tad cozy but the toilet is in a separate area so it´s not a problem. There were plenty of outlets for charging our devices too, not always available elsewhere. The WiFi was free although you did have to sign up daily [not a big hassle].
Downstairs is a small dining area where we took coffee. There is also a nice small bar for a cocktail if you so desire, and there are some seats outside.
The room and the general area were quiet which is always a blessing when you are running around all day and need to rest.
The staff were very helpful – they were having a computer glitch the day we checked out but they made sure it was no hassle to us. We paid about $230 USD per night, which we felt was quite reasonable for the area.

We three of us stayed in room 503 ( the extraordinary room ) . First I´m going to start with the room . And I must say it was a glorious room . Neat and clean and designed with thought to every aspect of convenience and luxury . Even the hooks at the partition pointed towards attention to small details . The staff was very very pleasant , as well as helpful . Good to be greeted by warm welcoming hotel staff after a long tedious journey . I ordered room service for my son and he loved the food . I would highly recommend this hotel
Aah! And their vintage lift is beautiful too

Excellent hotel with well done refurbished rooms. The staff was outstanding and very attentive. Rooms were very nice. Everything was well done although the lobby was small it did not take away from our experience. Hotel is steps away from tram and subway lines and almost across the street from the state opera house. Very close to main shopping district and cultural locations in central Vienna. Highly recommend this hotel.

Ideal location for visiting this lovely and friendly city as is just a few yards from underground station complex where you can validate tickets for the Vienna pass if you have brought one. It is very near the Vienna state opera house , the pick up point for the red line of the hop on hop off bus tour and from there a short walk along kartner street, the Vienna equivalent of Oxford street but not quite as busy . Hotel also near hofburg palace and number of galleries and museums and is on a nice tree lined boulevard which is bustling . Hotel itself is great and staff very friendly and helpful. Very good wi fi. Very glad we chose this. The beds were super comfy and rooms very quiet.

Located in central Vienna, The Ring is a beautiful hotel to stay at. It is fairly inexpensive for a luxury hotel, but lacks nothing in service. The rooms are very comfortable, as is the bedding. The soundproofing is very good, I have not heard anyone in the adjoining rooms which is a rarity in most places regardless of how good they are.
The staff was very helpful in making dinner reservations for me, and also had some great suggestions as to where to eat and things to see. They were very personable and friendly.
I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very friendly staff and great bar! Le Zefire was a fun experimental bar where the owner and staff made us feel very welcome on the one day it rained on our trip! Hotel clean and lovely and the location is so central that you only need to walk short distances to get anywhere. Would stay here again!

Very convenient location, close to Karlsplatz, the Staatsoper, quality shops and restaurants. We stayed three nights in a “special room” and were very pleased. The room was modern, spacious, well equipped, with a comfortable, king-size bed, Inspresso coffee machine, safe, mini-bar, good wardrobe space, desk, flatscreen TV (additional speaker in bathroom) and excellent lighting. Good bath/shower room and separate cubicle with toilet and bidet. Quality towels and plenty of White Company toiletries. The rooms were clean and were serviced again in the evening. Breakfast was table service; there was a good choice but it was quite expensive; €32 for full breakfast, €23 for continental or a la carte is also available. Staff were polite and helpful. We would certainly stay there again.
